purchase your boost guage setup rather than buying a real guage, and then they would be missing out on the vacuum part. you say it isn't important, and to some degree you are right, but i get alot of comfort from my boost guage seeing the needle resting at 20inches of vacuum at idle, because i know that a well running engine gets 19-21 inches of vacuum at idle, and anything below is reason for concern.
